Refund and Returns Policy

Refund Policy for Retail Purchases:

All sales from our shop are final. We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for any retail items sold. Once a product is purchased, it cannot be returned or exchanged for any reason, except in cases of product defects or shipping errors on our part.

In the event of receiving a defective or incorrect item, please contact us at tim@hoodoocharters.com within 7 days of receiving your order. We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.

Refund Policy for Charters:

Customers have the option of paying the full cost of charters upfront or paying a 30% deposit to reserve the booking, with the remaining amount due on the day of departure.

Reservation Cancellations by Customers:

Cancellations made 48 hours or more prior to the scheduled charter will be eligible for a full refund, excluding a 3% processing fee. For both charters paid in full or deposits, the processing fee will be calculated as 3% of the total cost of the charter. (Please note that the processing fee helps cover administrative costs associated with cancellations and refund processing.)

Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled charter will forfeit the entire deposit or 30% of the cost of the charter if it was paid in full.

Captain-Initiated Cancellations:

In the event that the Captain cancels the charter due to inclement weather, rough seas, or any other factors that may affect the safety or success of the trip, customers will receive a 100% refund.

If the Captain cancels the charter for any other reason not related to weather or safety, customers will receive a 100% refund.

No-Shows and Late Arrivals:

No-shows or late arrivals beyond the scheduled departure time will not be eligible for a refund.

It is the responsibility of the customer to arrive at the designated meeting location on time.

Rescheduling:

Customers may request to reschedule their charter subject to availability and at the discretion of the Captain.

Rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled charter.

Refund Processing:

Refunds will be processed within three days of the cancellation request.

Refunds will be issued to the same payment method used for the original booking.
